About Us

Weanie & Ben working at Chiswick Market A coffee shop without walls, in every sense of the meaning; Weanie Beans makes outstanding coffee, anywhere. Our skilled baristas can always be found manning our permanent stalls in Barnes and Chiswick.

But you’ll just as likely bump into us at an event near you sometime. Or just doing our weekly food shop. Because we have to go to the supermarket too sometimes.

If you do see us, make sure you say hello. We like a good natter.

THE PEOPLE

Weanie Adeline is the seed in all of this. She was the one foolish enough to think that standing outside in the freezing cold selling amazing coffee was a good idea. She changers her hair colour a lot. No-one really knows why.
Scott Scott is the one who makes things like packaging look nice and makes the website do things the rest of us could only dream of. He’s also a drummer in a pretty awesome band.
Ben L Ben L is mostly to be found at our Chiswick stall pulling awesome espresso shots. He spends his free time skateboarding, rides a pretty cool bike, and is studying something quite incredible that no-one at WB HQ seems to understand. He is probably cleverer than the rest of us put together.
Ben Ben M joins us with plenty of coffee making experience, when he’s not with us, he’s flying all over the world making coffee for other people. Lucky him. You’ll find him manning the machine at Barnes and showing off his latte art skills.
GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN

Mark Mark was with us for the long haul, until he decided to go travelling around South America, then took his beautiful girlfriend home to show her off to all his family. Rumour has it he’s bringing her back home though. You’ll often find Mark barefoot. Or on a bicycle.
Anabel Annabel used to be found at our central London cart. Nowadays, she’s most likely acting in something incredible, because Annabel is actually a superstar.
We’re pretty proud of the coffee we use, which is roasted for us weekly in Hackney and collected by foot (or by bicycle if it’s pouring with rain), and our organic milk, which comes from Gilcombe Farm in Somerset. We figured it was senseless serving great coffee with average milk. And just to make sure we’re not wasting any extra fuel then we really need to, we make sure that we time our milk deliveries to match their schedule. It’s James Bond style precision timing.

We’re not really into cutting down trees and burning tyres, so we recycle as much as we can, use as little packaging as possible, and make it biodegradable when we can.

We even look after your dinner for you – if you have a garden or an allotment, just ask, and our coffee grounds are yours so you can ward off the slugs and protect your cabbages.

As well running the stalls, and because work is like play with us, we’re constantly adding things to our online shop, where you can buy all manner of lovely stuff like fresh coffees and tea and other yummy awesomeness like our chocolate covered coffee beans and chilli hot chocolate. And some pretty cool gifts as well.

So even if you can’t get to London to say hello to us in person, or if we haven’t been at an event near your nan’s house in Stoke-On-Trent recently when you last went to visit her, you can still say a cyber hello or buy some things to show your appreciation. Money can’t buy you love, but it can buy you a year’s supply of coffee.
