These fragrant, slender, silver buds are prized by connoisseurs for their subtle yet complex flavours. Steamed, and then dried, this is tea at its purest. A brewed cup will have a mellow aroma and naturally sweet and malty taste.
A first flush black tea from one of the finest tea gardens in Hile Dhankuta, it gives a deliciously full bodied and rich brew, which is mellow but has enormous depth.
Definitely not a black tea to add milk too though.
Our scrumptiously warming chilli hot chocolate. Something a little bit more special than a plain hot chocolate, we’ve spiced it up with chilli, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg – it’s definitely something for those cold winter evenings when it’s raining outside and you’re sitting by the fire watching a great film. It comes presented in a  glass and ceramic jar. which, very conveniently, you can re-use for all your other yummy kitchen goodies once you’ve finished it all up.
Mix a tablespoon, or 3 teaspoons in a mug of hot milk. Jar contains approximately 300g of chilli hot chocolate.
The Aeropress has revolutionised the way I make coffee. Using the Aeropress you can make espresso coffee without the need for a standard espresso machine. Really.
Once you put the ground coffee into the chamber and start plunging, a vacuum is created, it then uses small filter papers to filter the coffee directly into your cup.
It’s incredibly easy to use, and a doddle to clean. (I take mine whenever I go to a festival or camping. All you need is hot water to brew it, and a damp cloth to wipe the plunger clean. It’s made camping a lot more enjoyable!)
Download our PDF brew guide for guidance.
When you order ground coffee for your aeropress choose a paper filter grind.
Our espresso blend is designed specifically for that purpose, though you won’t be disappointed if you brew it in a french press or a filter.
At the moment, we’re blending 40% Costa Rican with 40% Brazilian and 20% Papua New Guinean to pull together a coffee that hints at fruit and nuttiness.

From the foothills of the Shiva Puri mountains, below Gauri Shanker Himal, one of the most remote tea gardens in Nepal comes this dark oolong has a rich golden colour and a mellow aroma. Gentle on the tummy, with a warm and nutty finish, this oolong will only improve in time provided it is stored correctly.
Called red tea because once infused, the leaves are a reddish colour – it is actually what we would call a black tea (though definitely not one you should add milk to) and hails from Fuding in China. Along with its light body, clean taste, silky texture and sweeter notes, this first flush also adds more of a floral character.
This rebaked oolong comes from the Phoenix mountains, south of Xiamen, China. This particular oolong was made in the Spring and rebaked in the Winter for maturing. It is bright and floral and is delicious drunk now, or, properly stored, will mature over the next 3 years into a mellow tea.
Ethiopia is proud of its reputation as the first nation to discover coffee, and many Ethiopian coffees live up to this high reputation. This particular Ethiopian is one of our favourites. It’s roasted light, making it ideal for filter – which means you can enjoy it when brewed in the french press as well through a filter.
This Peruvian, like most others from this country is organic and fairtrade. (Though we’re not certified as either, so we technically can’t claim it to be. Frustrating.)
A shade grown, wet processed, coffee from the Quillabamba region, it’s rich and dark, with strong almond notes.
It lends itself well to espresso and french press brewing in particular.
